are crucial to SF Works’ success in making a difference
in the lives of hard working San Francisco people and their
families. To get more details about volunteer opportunities

Give
Your Time
We
offer the opportunity for adults at all professional levels
to volunteer in our offices. We provide a personally and professionally
rewarding environment that helps you gain valuable community
service experience.
Give Your Expertise
We
benefit tremendously from the expertise of professionals in
our community. Recent projects have included product development
research, HR communication and sales outreach. Expertise we
are interested in tapping includes social networking marketing,
graphic design, outreach to accountants and professional service
firms, and community organizing. If you have a strong skill
and some time to donate, please contact us.
Give
Your Leadership
SF
Works is guided by a committed and energetic board of directors
composed of
business and civic leaders. We are adding several new directors
in 2010. If you
want to take a leadership role in our organization please
contact us. We are
particularly interested in people with backgrounds in tax,
hospitality, organizing,
charitable giving and media.
Give
Your Financial Support - Donate
Support
from individuals and companies helps us serve more people.
Our clients work hard, typically in service jobs taking care
of our children and elders, making our meals and in many other
jobs that are essential to our local economy and our daily
lives. In an expensive city like San Francisco, you can work
hard but still struggle to make ends meet. It costs us $50
to help someone access $2,500 - it's hard to beat a 50:1 return.
Donate
online or visit our donation page to learn about other options.
Connect Us to Local Businesses We Can Help
Most employers we work with come from referrals.
We work with many leading business and civic organizations including the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce, the San Francisco Locally Owned Merchants Association (SFLOMA), Golden Gate Merchant Restaurant Association, and Northern California Human Resource Association (NCHRA).
