Did you know there are more than 50,000 people who work in San Francisco, labeled the “working poor”? This population struggles because to achieve self-sufficiency in San Francisco, a family of four needs an income of $77,069 – almost twice what two adults working full-time at minimum wage earn.
Our services can help employees save or receive ~$1,200/yr. each, and can help employers access hiring tax credits and erase their tax burdens. The working population can count on SF Works to help them access benefits and savings – can we count on you to help too?
SF Works is a nonprofit housed in the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce, but is financially independent and self-supporting. We receive funding from foundations, earned revenues and from people like you.
Support SF Works, and help San Franciscans bridge the gap between what they earn and what they need to make ends meet.
